Last week

Hi!

I think this fall I’m going to be knitting and crocheting all the things on my list I have wanted to make myself. This is kind of a long list if I really think about it. So, maybe I’ll just be marking off some of them. Do you have a list of things you want to make yourself? Or am I the only weird one with a note book full of things I plan to knit and crochet for myself and others. Ha. Well I get to mark at least another thing off my crochet list, for I have crocheted myself some leg warmers! These have always been on my list since I started crocheting because my legs always hurt in the winter. So these are kind of something I needed to make myself. Within the same week I completed some fingerless mittens, or I guess you could call them wrist warmers, leg warmers, and of course the bows.

My fur babies in the back!
You can find the mittens here
Here are the Leg warmers
Note for the leg warmes: for the first round I single crocheted, for the next four rounds I half doubled crocheted, and then started the single crochet rounds. This will make the beginning and end look the same. Which the pattern does not tell you.
In other news...
I have to announce that I started a project that I thought I would never even start… a KNITTED BLANKET! I think I became a knitting addict overnight because I officially started one and don’t plan on stopping until it’s finished. Might take me the rest of my life but it doesn’t even matter, if I accomplish this, I will feel like wonder woman! I asked my best friend Janessa to follow along so I won’t feel so lonely in my adventure. If you’re brave enough to take on this task with us then I will tell you how much I casted on and what stitch I’m using.
OOops..I also forgot that I knitted a Kerchief Scarf from one of my knitting books( Last-Minute Knitted Gifts by Joelle Hoverson) ... I started this project because I wanted to learn how to increase. It was a one day knitting project but I wasn’t a big fan of this type of scarf. So I’m undoing it and using the yarn for another project. At least I can say I finally knitted something from one of these books I own.

Unitl next time my friends!

Something small and FAST

Hello!

While lying in bed the other night I found myself wanting to knit something easy, and something that doesn’t take a whole day. So I got on pinterest, and began my search for a fast project. I stumbled upon these cute little bows someone had knitted! I thought hmmmm... I have left over yarn form the rainbow cowl...I can knit a bow every color! Like a cute little handmade collection of bows! So the next morning I woke up a tad bit earlier and knitted some bows in bed while my boyfriend slept. These are very easy to make and are great for beginners! I have to say I adore the bows! I have worn one every day since I made them! I always catch people staring at them when I’m out and about. I can honestly say they make my day better, maybe there magical... :)

You can find these knitted bows by clicking here . Since there was only three bow patterns and I still had more colors, I repeated some of the patterns and some I made up. Just use whatever stitch you like and do that for about 15 to 16 rows. I used size 6 needles for all of my bows.
If you want to follow me on pinterest or instagram just search my name and you will find me:)
Have a lovely day everyone! Until next time my friends.
